When imposter syndrome whispered lies about failure, I leaned into God's promises and discovered a path to purpose. That’s exactly why this podcast exists—not just as a resource, but as a lifeline for veterans like you who are transitioning into entrepreneurship.

Now, hunnie are you ready for this tea? After 22 honorable years of military service, I decided it was time for a major plot twist. In August 2019, I hung up my uniform and stepped into a whole new battlefield—entrepreneurship. Transitioning from the structure of the military to the unpredictability of business ownership was no small feat, but I was determined to create a life that put my family first and my dreams within reach.

But hold on, it didn’t stop there. Just as I was getting my footing, life threw me a curveball. We went from being a Party of 5 to a Party of 6, welcoming our fourth baby at the age of 40! And if that wasn’t enough, my husband and I were navigating long-distance marriage while he fulfilled his own military commitments. Four years of him being home on Fridays and leaving on Sundays taught me resilience like never before.

As if transitioning into entrepreneurship wasn’t already challenging, COVID-19, Postpartum Depression, and burnout tried to knock me off course. But here’s the thing about veterans—we adapt, we overcome, and we don’t quit. I leaned into the same grit and determination that got me through my military career, proving that with faith, persistence, and a whole lot of hustle, you can build a successful business while rewriting your story.

So here I am, sharing my journey to inspire other veterans to take the leap into entrepreneurship—even when it feels scary. Because if I can do it scared, so can you!
